Kate Clarke

Kate Clarke is the Program Director of Theatre at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.   She is the co-artistic director of the Juniata Experimental Theatre Company a collective of seasoned teaching  and performing artists whose artistic home at Juniata serves as an incubator for the development, performing, and professional installation of new work.

A graduate of Oberlin College, and the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program, Kate brings 15 years of experience to coaching actors, creating dynamic theatre classes (both privately and at the college level), and to cultivating holistic practices for actors and singers through movement and voice work.

Kate is also a skilled singer, actress, movement theatre artist and voice talent.

Kate is an Associate Instructor of Fitzmaurice Voicework® in NYC, and is a certified practitioner and teacher of Open Source Forms.   Her teaching pedagogy includes: Fitzmaurice Voicework ®, Viewpoints, Suzuki, Alexander Technique, Stella Adler and Meisner studio work, Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Singing, and Low Flying Trapeze.
