A radical approach to composition, working with SCORES as a fertile way to find content, method, and structure that’s unique for each project.

Fluidly expanded from Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT), Skura developed Open Source Forms (OSF) after 12 years as SRT’s core faculty, & decades of radical performance practice. OSF is about cross-fertilizations and deep commonalities of SRT & creative process: shedding outer layers, finding primal energy, agility navigating subconscious realms, & imagery as powerful tool for transformation. Drawing on her innovative research in improvisation & composition, Skura’s teaching derives from a process that supports diversity, collaboration, & individual empowerment.
