These sessions are inclusive, welcoming and vitally useful for both newcomers to the practice and experienced practitioners. Options for two or three weeks, beginning with Week #1.

Now in its eighth year, this annual workshop assembles a world-wide community for dancing, creative practice and deep immersion — in a catalytic environment of colleagues with diverse experiences in teaching, healing, therapy, performance, theater, visual arts, writing, community and visionary organization-building. Workshop participants join OSF Sourcing Deeper participants and OSF teacher trainees for these morning sessions.

Deeply rooted in and fluidly expanded from Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT), OSF involves shedding outer layers, accessing primal energy, agility navigating subconscious realms, imagery as potent tool for transformation, and developing a high degree of consciousness without self-consciousness. This work celebrates diversity, collaboration and individual empowerment: free of inhibition, accessing intuition, inviting the mind to collaborate. OSF sessions offer potent tools to access freedom, specificity & courage in movement, vocal practice and creative practice. A key aspect is individual creative empowerment as an instigator of positive change on the planet.

*Fulfills pre-requisites for OSF Sourcing Deeper. Partially fulfills pre-requisites for OSF Teacher Certification Programs.*

Spring series: Weekly OSF Advanced Practice

28 February – 2 May 2021
Sundays 10 AM – 12 PM Pacific Time [zoom]

[In your own time zone: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com]

Rotating Facilitators: Nate Dryden, Susanna Hood, Keely Isaak Meehan, Stephanie Skura

Pre-requisite: This series is designed for those who’ve experienced the full spectrum (3 weeks) of Introductory OSF or SRT, and want to deepen their practice and/or pursue OSF Teacher Certification.

To ensure responsible facilitation, participant numbers are limited. Hold your place by registering for the whole series at a significant discount, or register in advance for single sessions.

Due to the popularity of our weekly advanced practice classes this past fall, we’re launching a spring series!  Weekly Advanced Practice OSF Sessions beginning 28 February 2021.

Moving online due to the pandemic, we discovered we can indeed feel in-community with each other despite inhabiting separate far-flung environments. We can experience rewarding levels of intimacy, adventure, trust and compassion. And with a playful approach to screens, we’re able to find new forms while avoiding the dreaded ‘zoom fatigue.

Advanced OSF material is deeply rooted in & fluidly expanded from advanced Skinner Releasing practice. It’s where OSF/SRT Introductory work is headed! New alignment insights, new depths, more & deeper deep-states, transporting imagery.  Joan Skinner did not intend Advanced Level SRT to be codified or limited to the 12 ‘Ongoing’ SRT classes.  She left us with a wealth of material not included in those 12 classes. Our advanced sessions are culled from decades of notes, explorations, and advanced material created and passed on by Joan and other veterans, integrated with improvisation experiments — material developed and augmented by Stephanie and other experienced OSF & SRT teachers during the past 25 years.

We’re the only SRT or OSF teachers on the planet, that we know of, currently creating classes at this advanced level!

Once again, we offer three payment options: full price, online price, and out-of-work price. Full price participants help subsidize those in our field who are, sadly, out of work for the duration — THANK YOU!

A way of moving toward wholeness, sanity, & creative empowerment in our increasingly challenging political climate.

“Brought me back into a place of great buoyancy & creativity…Such a profoundly empowering, healing & creative body of work.”  Gillian McGinty, California

“It was very important for me to engage in this creative practice, awaken new pathways of my imaginative & physical self, & to be held with such care even in the virtual medium.”

“What a delightful time to spend by the screen that normally just brings tense body & stressed mind — but now what a releasing, healing, creative, touching & funny time it has brought. Thank you for your courage, efforts & generosity to realize this.”  Titta Court, SRT teacher, Finland
