March 2-5, 2018 OSF Teachers Conference and Advanced Practice Workshop in Seattle

March 2 – 5, 2018
Russian Community Center
704 19th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112

4-DAY OPEN SOURCE FORMS TEACHERS CONFERENCE & ADVANCED PRACTICE WORKSHOP

TEACHERS CONFERENCE: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, March 2-5, 2018
10:30 AM – 6 PM. All certified OSF teachers are invited. Morning sessions facilitated by Stephanie Skura. During afternoons we’ll address topics of interest, discuss the future of OSF & OSF TT, delve deeper into OSF concepts we’re curious to explore, & share with each other about our integrations, teaching, performing, research, successes, quandaries, etc.
Fee: $361 USD

ADVANCED PRACTICE WORKSHOP: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Mar 2-5, 2018
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM + one afternoon discussion about OSF Teacher Training & related topics of interest. Morning sessions facilitated by Stephanie Skura.
Fee: $207 USD

Open to those who’ve experienced the full spectrum of Introductory OSF or SRT (3 weeks of progressive sessions) & want to deepen their practice & join the growing OSF community. Some might want to pursue OSF Teacher Certification in future — or not. Advanced OSF material is deeply rooted in, & fluidly expanded from, advanced Skinner Releasing practice.

These advanced sessions are rarely taught, only a few on the planet are teaching them, & Stephanie might be the only one currently creating classes at this advanced level.

We’re EXCITED to have an opportunity to be together with our hearts, physical selves, spirits & brains — interacting, discovering, anchoring, dreaming — & navigating toward wholeness, sanity, & creative empowerment in our increasingly challenging political climate.

Please contact us below if you have any questions.

June 19 – July 14, 2017: Year #2 of OSF 2016/17 Teacher Certification with OSF creator Stephanie Skura & teacher-trainers Susanna Hood, Nate Dryden & Meaghen Buckley

This Training Year #2 for our current OSF Teacher Certification group is full. Participant numbers are very limited, for greatest benefit of participants.  Our next Teacher Certification groups in Seattle & in Europe will begin in 2018. Applicants to this program need  substantive experience in Open Source Forms and/or Skinner Releasing Technique. We recommend attending a 3-week OSF Pre-Teacher Training workshop before entering OSF Teacher Certification. The next OSF Pre-TT workshop is in Wales in Fall 2017, & in Seattle during summer 2018.  For specifics on our OSF Teacher Certification Program & its prerequisites:

OSF is creatively empowering for both teachers & their students. A rigorous, soul-expanding program, OSF Teacher Certification gives a solid grounding in methods & deep understanding of the work, ultimately empowering teachers & their students to expand OSF to adapt to changing circumstances in our lives & worlds, & integrate it with other practices they embrace.

If interested in OSF Teacher Certification, please message us below.

“It’s impossible to thank you adequately for the immensity, generosity, hilarity, depth & expansiveness of what you’ve brought to this Teacher Training.”  Meaghen Buckley, Certified OSF Teacher, 2014

Deeply rooted in, & fluidly expanded from Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT), Open Source Forms (OSF) is about cross-fertilizations and deep commonalities of SRT and creative process: shedding outer layers, finding primal energy, agility navigating subconscious realms, and imagery as powerful tool for transformation. OSF is a remarkably effective and revolutionary way of learning that can catalyze learning and healing of all kinds. A key mission is individual creative empowerment as an instigator of positive change on the planet. OSF supports our connections amidst our diversity, self-empowerment through deep reflection in community with others, and effortless dissolving of inhibitions.   It’s guided by the philosophy that the source of creativity & wisdom is available in each of us.

This workshop brings together a worldwide community for dancing, creative practice, and deep immersion — in a catalytic environment of colleagues with diverse experiences in teaching, healing, therapy, performance, theater, community, and visionary organization-building.

“I had such a fabulous time dancing, & felt so open and alive after each class.”  Eva Karczag, Teacher & Choreographer, Netherlands/NYC

“This work feeds me in ways I’m not able to access otherwise.”  Alwyn O’Brien, Visual Artist, Canada
